The Teen Files: The Truth About Sex forces teens to face the hard-hitting realities of having sex too young, including unwanted pregnancies and STDs. Two teens discuss the struggles of becoming parents at a young age, while another couple faces the possibility that they could be pregnant. A group of teenagers tour a microbiology lab, where hundreds of cases of sexually transmitted diseases are diagnosed each year, and they participate in a mock AIDs test. Lisa, a 33-year-old heterosexual woman shares her story about having full blown AIDs. 45 minutes

Her boyfriend’s indifference encourages her to turn to her friends, where she finds true support. Christina chooses to learn the step-by-step techniques for breast self-examination, as shown by an actual MD, taking responsibility for her own body wellness and peace of mind. 26 minutes
